On Friday, August 21, 2026, the Cape Coast Youth Development Association (CCYDA), in partnership with REC Advisory Group, distributed 20 bicycles to selected male and female day students in the Cape Coast Metropolis.
The initiative is designed to support students who face transportation challenges and help improve their access to education.
The presentation ceremony was held at Emintsimadze Palace and was graced by Osabarimba Dr. Kwesi Atta II, Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, President of the Oguaa Traditional Council, and Life Patron of CCYDA; Chief Patron Dr. James Condua Orleans-Lindsay, First Chancellor of Cape Coast Technical University; and H.E. Madam Sunderland, Ambassador of Barbados to Ghana.
CCYDA expressed its sincere appreciation to REC Advisory Group for sponsoring the 20 bicycles and supporting the youth and education initiative.
Every bicycle represents more than transportation—it represents opportunity, access to education, and hope for a brighter future.
